Eleven Treasures opened for business in March of 2009. The concept was created to blend the sale of exceptionally well priced women's fashion jewelry, gifts, and accessories with "giving back" to various charitable organizations throughout the world.
During our first two years in business, Eleven Treasures donated to more than 50 charitable organizations! In addition,
Eleven Treasures has provided fashionable jewelry, accessories and gifts to hundreds of clients.
Owner, Gerilyn Pats, designed the Eleven Treasures logo with graphic artist, Ashley Shoen, in classic shades of blue and white with our signature "look forward, give back" theme prominently featured. All Eleven Treasures merchandise is personally selected and complimentary gift wrap is always available. A unique gift tag is included with gift wrapping and shows the recipient that a percentage of her gift purchase was donated to a charitable organization.
Often asked about the name "Eleven Treasures", Gerilyn's explanation is that "eleven" is a symbol of hope in her life. In 2006, Gerilyn had successful open heart surgery. In anticipating, planning and recovering from her surgery, the number eleven repeatedly appeared at the most surprising times. As a result, she decided to embrace "eleven" as a symbol of hope.
We have expanded over the years! Initially, Eleven Treasures began as a home based business. In November, 2009 we opened our doors inside JV Nails in Highland, Maryland. In September, 2011 a second retail location opened its doors inside Therapeutic Kneads in Eldersburg, Maryland. Eleven Treasures has also participated in a variety of charitable vendor events, in addition to establishing our retail locations.
Gerilyn has combined her fashion experience (30 years!) and education to provide clients with personal shopping services upon request. Whether via text, email, phone, or by appointment, she is available to assist with your accessory or gift needs. Inside our Therapeutic Kneads location, manager, Heidi Maxfield (a former Eleven Treasures client and fashionista) is available for personal consultation as well.
Eleven Treasures, located inside JV Nails, donates 5% of all purchases to the American Heart Association.
Eleven Treasures, located inside Therapeutic Kneads, donates 5% of all purchases to HorseNet Horse Rescue.
Eleven Treasures, located inside Studio 10, donates 5% of all purchases to The Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center.
